LNG exports up 4x

U.S. LNG exports are up 4x in 2017.  Not really a surprise since they were quite small in 2016.  However, the surprise will come in the next 5-7 years, when US exports will jump from the current ~3 Bcf/day to upwards of 15 billion cubic feet per day.  I predict the now unencumbered, free market of US natural gas and the US-led global economic recovery will surprise even the most sophisticated energy analysts.

The Chinese usually send large numbers of representatives to most events. Yale Professor and CNBC: Value add or Obvious Discourse?

Yale professor Stephen Roach jumps on the criticism wagon in his latest comments, including stating that Trump's latest leaked tactics would be 'unmitigated disaster'. Unfortunately, while concluding the unarguable, he, not unlike many in the press and university system, fail to examine long term implications of negotiation tactics. This short-sided view, along with CNBC "reporting" of it, appears to be more of a methodology designed to criticise and headline, rather than to create a value add recommendation or create balance. The regional prices supplement the  national monthly natural gas price index , called IPGN, which was launched in August 2017. CRE collects data for the pricing indexes based on monthly post-transactional reports that all natural gas marketers operating in Mexico are required to file.
